FAQ

Q: What should I wear?

A: Many people who get tied in rope, wear athletic or yoga style clothing, body suits or underwear.. The only clothing related rule is that genitals must be covered (going topless is okay). If you are being lifted in suspension, an underwire bra is not recommended. Otherwise, wear whatever you're comfortable in!

Q: I don't feel like the usual type of person who does rope, will I fit in?

A: Anyone of any shape or size can tie or be tied in rope. If you attend our events with good intensions, all humans are viewed as equals. If you bring intensions that are not good, you will be asked to leave.

Q: Do I need to bring my own rope?

A: Preferably yes, but we have loaner rope available for those who don't have it.

Q: Are Alcohol or drugs permitted?

A: Alcohol or consciousness altering substances are prohibited

Class Rules

  • No sexual acts or fondling of genitals

  • Genitals must remain covered

  • Be mindful of others, their space and their rope

  • Enthusiastic consent in all things

  • No harassment of any kind

  • No alcohol or consciousness altering substances

  • No footwear on the dance floor at Evolved

  • Protect floor from rig damage

  • Photos are allowed. Make sure everyone in photo has consent to be there. Be weary of mirrors. No video.

  • Do not share nature of event with non attendees in the area

  • If borrowing "community rope" please ensure cleanliness, keep bodily fluids off the rope and do not use for suspension or weight bearing activities

  • If you get in trouble, ask for help. There will be people to come to your aid
